This intensely complex design is reminiscent of watercolors executed for "Purgatory" of Dante's Divine Comedy. The central figure here is at once reforming/disintegrating while looking toward the heavens. In the Dalinian universe, we have come to understand that life is continually disintegrating and then forming anew.
